About the role
Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Salem, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist with post-procedure care.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in Virginia.
- Experience in a similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Cath Lab Technologist program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Good interpersonal skills.
Pay
Cash bonus paid after completing the first four weeks of the assignment.
Schedule
10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
