Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $2,485 per week

About the role

This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures within a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. The technologist will operate specialized equipment, assist in patient preparation and care, and ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures to facilitate high-quality diagnostic results.

Responsibilities

• Operates manifold and specialized imaging equipment
• Aids physicians during procedures
• Prepares radiopaque contrast media
• Manages patient interaction in a highly technical environment
• Maintains accurate records and adheres to safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Completion of clinical and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) requirements
• Hold a New Jersey State License
• Pass the National Registry examination
• Hold AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Experience with manifold systems essential for catheterization lab work, as well as scrub assisting and table-side assistance
• Experience in scrub assist and table-side required
• Vital communication skills

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
