About the role
This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures within a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. The technologist will operate specialized equipment, assist in patient preparation and care, and ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures to facilitate high-quality diagnostic results.
Responsibilities
- Operates manifold and specialized imaging equipment
- Aids physicians during procedures
- Prepares radiopaque contrast media
- Manages patient interaction in a highly technical environment
- Maintains accurate records and adheres to safety standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Completion of clinical and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) requirements
- Hold a New Jersey State License
- Pass the National Registry examination
- Hold AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Experience with manifold systems essential for catheterization lab work, as well as scrub assisting and table-side assistance
- Experience in scrub assist and table-side required
- Vital communication skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
