About the role
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is based in the cardiac catheterization laboratory within a healthcare facility. This role involves supporting interventional and vascular procedures, including EPS, PVI, PPM LT and RT HC, PCI, IR, and vascular procedures. The technologist will work collaboratively with a team dedicated to providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support interventional and vascular procedures (EPS, PVI, PPM LT/RT HC, PCI, IR, vascular).
- Operate x-ray table and assist with imaging equipment.
- Collaborate with charge nurse, techs, and nurses in a team of 11 staff.
- Adhere to dress code (surgical scrubs).
- Provide on-call coverage for at least 10 shifts per month.
- Participate in float rotation as required.
Requirements
- ARRT certification
- RCIS certification
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- X‑ray table operation experience
- Interventional procedure experience
- Located in or willing to work in Houston, Texas
Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience in electrophysiology (EP)
- Preferred: Experience in interventional radiology (IR)
Skills
- Operation of Phillips and Siemens imaging equipment
- Proficiency with EMR systems: MERGE Hemo and Meditech Expanse
- Ability to work four 10‑hour shifts per week
- Strong teamwork and communication in a fast‑paced cath lab

Pay
Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
- Days shift, 10 hours per day
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start date: 10/19/2026
- End date: 01/18/2027 (13‑week assignment)
