About the role
The position involves performing various tasks related to the catheterization laboratory, including assisting physicians during procedures, managing equipment, and ensuring patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Manage and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Experience in a similar healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
