Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Leesburg, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering sedation and monitoring vital signs.
• Operate equipment and perform other technical tasks necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the catheterization laboratory.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
• Current American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification or equivalent.
• Experience in a catheterization laboratory setting preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current ACLS certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
• Experience with medical terminology and documentation.

Skills

• Proficiency with medical equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.

Pay
