Travel Cath Lab Technician - $3,744 per week
About the role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Cooperstown, New York.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist with post-procedure care.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Experience in a similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized training program in Cath Lab Technology.
- Current BLS certification.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Benefits
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
