Travel Cath Lab Technician - $3,087 per week

About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, starting September 27, 2026. This is a full-time travel position with 40 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures under the direction of the cardiologist
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures including coronary angiography, right heart catheterization, and PCI
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and hemodynamic data during procedures
• Prepare and operate specialized cath lab equipment and maintain inventory of supplies
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
• Collaborate with the cath lab team to maintain efficient workflow and patient flow
• Participate in on-call rotation (1–2 weekday nights and 1 weekend per month) and holiday coverage as needed
• Float within the skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles as department needs require

Requirements

• 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience
• Proficiency with EPIC systems
• Prior travel healthcare experience
• Valid Driver’s License/State ID

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

Work Schedule and Conditions

• 4×10-hour day shifts per week; hours vary but typically 0600–1630
• On-call rotation: 1–2 weekday nights and 1 weekend per month
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• May float within skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles
