Travel Cath Lab Technician - $2,794 per week

Job Summary

Assists with procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity.
• Makes recommendations for updates or refinements to protocols as necessary.
• Maintains compliance with radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Performs specialized imaging procedures including angio, complex vascular, and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.
• Aids the Radiologist/PA in all aspects of the procedure.

Requirements

• Accomplished in performing specialized imaging procedures.
• Able to assist in various interventional and therapeutic procedures.
• Experience with contrast media and medications administration.
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Current certification in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technology (CCDT).
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Skills

• Proficiency in using medical imaging equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
