Role Overview

The Cath Lab Tech provides technical assistance and direct patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. They operate ancillary equipment, prepare supplies, and assist cardiologists under supervision. Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards, they maintain accurate patient records and promote a patient-focused, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist during invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
• Operate equipment, anticipate needs, and handle inventory and medications
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care

Qualifications & Skills

• Current license in good standing with appropriate certifications
• Preferred two years of Cath Lab experience, especially in critical care
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication
