About the role
We are seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab Tech to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a cardiac catheterization lab.
Responsibilities
- Preparing patients and equipment
- Assisting physicians during procedures such as angioplasty and stent placements
- Operating imaging and hemodynamic monitoring systems
- Maintaining sterile technique
- Ensuring patient safety
- Troubleshooting equipment
- Documenting procedures
- Managing supplies
- Adhering to safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience
- Current BLS, ACLS certifications
- ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
- Optional: Radiologic Technologist license, PALS/ENPC certifications
Skills
- Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in reading and following instructions
- Physical ability to move and assist with equipment weighing up to 100 lbs
- Effective teamwork and professionalism
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
