Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,495 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 3+ years of experience and required California CRRT/CLS licensure for a cardiac intervention radiology role with structural heart procedures.

Assignment Overview

• Shift: Days, 5x8hrs (7:00 AM–3:30 PM), Monday–Friday
• Hours: 40 hrs/week
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Start Date: September 8, 2026
• Openings: 1
• Call requirement: 3 call shifts within a 2‑week period
• Weekend call: approximately every 6 weeks
• Epic EMR experience required

Responsibilities

• Equipment setup, prepping access sites, monitoring hemodynamics, and maintaining sterile fields during procedures
• Circulating and scrubbing in interventional cardiac procedures
• Work in a cardiac intervention radiology room with structural heart capabilities, across 3 procedure rooms with an average daily census of 15

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience required (hard stop)
• California CRRT and CLS state licenses required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• ACLS, ARRT‑R, BLS, and Fluoroscopy Permit required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficient in venous access, central line care, and vascular closure systems
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, IABP, Impella, and pacemaker insertion
• Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring, arrhythmia recognition, and sterile technique
• First‑time travelers will be considered
• Candidates must be willing to float between sister facilities as needed
• Former Providence employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travel candidate and must not be within 50 miles of the facility
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required
• RTO requests are limited to no more than 7 days and must be submitted upfront
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
• Local candidates accepted within a 50‑mile radius at a lower bill rate
• Scrubs are provided

Preferred Qualifications

• CCI RCIS certification preferred
• Trauma Level II hospital experience preferred
• Experience with TAVR and Watchman procedures preferred
