Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,268 per week

Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years with coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral experience
• Certification: BLS, ACLS, RT or equivalent or RCIS is required
• Education: AA/AAS Degree required
• Must possess critical patient assessment skills and the ability to perform table movement (panning)

Responsibilities

• Work effectively in a specialized Cath Lab environment
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required
• Administer care to patients undergoing complex procedures
• Participate in the management of patients with critical conditions

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Orientation Duration: 4 days (10-hour shifts available)
• Schedule: Primarily 4x10-hour day shifts, with some weeks rotating to 3x12-hour night shifts
• Weekend Rotation: Every fourth weekend required
• Call Requirements: Will be on call 1-2 days per week from 1630-0600 and every fourth weekend from 1630 Friday to 0600 Monday morning

• Beds: 2 Cath labs, 2 Hybrid peripheral/OR
• Patient Types: Coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, complex total occlusions, diagnostic Cath procedures, valvular disease, renal disease, carotid stenosis, limb salvage, peripheral stenosis, thrombosis disease, Impella insertion, LVAD insertions, and more
• Patient Ratios: RN: 1:1

Additional Information

• Charting System: Experience with EPIC required; EPIC Cupid preferred
• Scrub Color: Procedural scrubs provided by the facility
