Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,121 per week
Description
Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, including hybrid OR settings.
1:1 patient ratio
4x10 hour day shifts, either 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
On-call required every 4 to 5 weekends
Epic EMR experience required
Special equipment used includes Impella, IABP, Aviggo+, IVUS, Coroflow, Rotoblade, and coronary/peripheral lithotripsy devices
Additional equipment includes fluoroscopy, GE Innova IGS, and ultrasound
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
- Current ARRT (R), ACLS, and BLS certifications required; ARRT CI preferred
- Licenses required if applicable
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Proficiency with EKG lead placement, access site prep, and vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, and Impella insertion
- Skilled in left and right heart catheterization, PCI, and PTCA procedures
- Experience with vascular studies including angioplasty, angiography, and stent placement
- Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration
