About the role

Hospital in Vancouver, Washington seeks a Cath Lab Tech to work a 13 week contract. Ideal candidates should have BLS, ACLS, RCIS and be licensed to work in Washington state. This position will perform a wide range of procedures including Cardiac, IR, Vascular, Neuro and EP.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of cardiac, interventional radiology, vascular, neurology, and electrophysiology procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-procedure education and preparation.
  • Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
  • Document patient data accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • BLS, ACLS, RCIS certifications required.
  • Licensed to work in Washington state.
  • Experience in a similar role preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited medical technologist program.
  • Current registration as a Registered Cardiographic Technologist (RCC).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
