Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,019 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Dayton, Ohio. The position requires 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts. The Cath Lab Technologist (also referred to as Cardiac Catheterization Radiologist) will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the catheterization lab.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardiac lab procedure rooms – ensure adequate stock, instrument sterilization, and equipment readiness.
• Prepare patients and equipment – prep entry site, drape patient, arrange sterilized instruments and catheters, calibrate and set up pressure transducers and tubing.
• Operate and maintain quality control of all cardiac cath lab equipment.
• Scrub in during procedures, assisting the physician with catheter maneuvering.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using hemodynamic/electrical amplifiers and digital/line fluoroscopic equipment.
• Monitor patient hemodynamic status during procedures.
• Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiac catheterization lab.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• ARRT (R) – CI preferred or CCI‑RCIS certification.
• State‑specific licensing as required.
• Additional certifications may be needed before assignment.
