Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,886 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 4x10 day shift contract in a cardiac catheterization lab setting in Baltimore, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting in an acute care hospital environment
• Procedures include interventional cath, right and left heart catheterization, cardiac stent placement, PCI, PTCA, balloon angioplasty, Rotablader, and thrombectomy
• Preferred experience includes Watchman procedures, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR
• Preferred skills include room circulator and acute monitoring
• Cerner experience preferred
• ACIST experience preferred
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 1–2 weeknight call shifts per week (Monday–Friday) and one 3–24 hour weekend call shift per month

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• At least one prior travel assignment required
• BLS and ACLS required
• CRISS or ARRT (R) required
• MD State License required if applicable
• Proficiency in interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, Rotablader, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

• Must be able to perform effectively in a high-paced environment and function as a team player

Skills

• Must have proficiency in interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, Rotablader, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty

Benefits

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
