About the Role
Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional cardiology procedures, and scrub duties in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. Provide care to adult patients requiring these procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional cardiology procedures, and scrub duties in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
- Provide care to adult patients requiring these procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile field.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- 2.0 years of relevant experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Knowledge of and ability to perform the following procedures: Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification in ACLS and BLS.
