Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for an assignment in Charleston, West Virginia. This role starts on August 31, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, and is a full-time travel position with 36 hours per week.
About the Role
This assignment is ideal for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist looking for a travel opportunity. The shift is 12-hour days, and the role requires proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including structural interventions.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures, including structural heart interventions.
- Assist with cardiac implant closure devices, stent placements, and left heart catheterizations.
- Place and remove intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP).
- Interpret cardiac dysrhythmias.
- Operate and maintain cath lab equipment, including Cerner-EHR.
- Ensure compliance with all required certifications and licensure.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Interventional procedures, including Structural.
- Prior travel and lab procedure experience required; not suitable for first-time travelers.
- Active West Virginia (WV) license required (can submit application with a pending license).
- Must not hold RCIS or RCES certifications, as WV does not recognize these for Cath Lab roles.
- Permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility (exceptions considered for 75–100 miles on a case-by-case basis).
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA) only.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association (AHA) only.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R)) certification.
- Minimum of 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years.

Pay
Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
