Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,722 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech for a Level I Trauma, Magnet‑designated teaching hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. The facility has two procedure rooms, operates on a day shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), and prefers experience with EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric/adult transplant right/left heart biopsy, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, and valve placement (including possible IR cases).
• Conduct diagnostic catheterizations (adult, pediatric/neonatal) and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).
• Handle cardiac stent placement and other cath lab procedures.
• Meet on‑call requirement of 8‑10 shifts per month, including weekend coverage.
• Use radiation badge (provided by the assigned agency).

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant cath lab experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (AHA only).
• CCI certification with RCIS or RCES preferred; ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) accepted as alternative.
• State license required if applicable.
• Valid driver’s license and SSN required for consideration.
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency).
