About the role

Travel position in Greensboro, North Carolina. 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday). Call and float required as needed, including during COVID surges. First-time travelers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and perform EKG for invasive cardiac procedures
• Assist with balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left/right heart catheterization, rotablader
• Operate EPIC-CUPID and XPER for hemodynamic monitoring
• Perform 25–35 daily cardiac interventions and adjunct therapies (CSI-atherectomy, IMPELLA, IABP, ACIST, OCT, LHC, RHC, Swan-Ganz, IVUS, AngioJet, radial/ulnar/femoral access)
• Support EP lab procedures (device implants, ablations, EP studies)
• Assist in peripheral vascular lab (fistula creation, A/O LE runoff, pedal access, thrombectomy)
• Monitor conscious sedation and hemodynamic status
• Diagnose coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmias, and abnormal electrical heart function

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• RCIS or RCES certification (strongly preferred)
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
