Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience required
  • First-timers accepted: Yes
  • National Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process)
  • Must have SC license (SCRQSA)
  • Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers
  • BLS REQ: Yes
  • Cath Lab Experience
  • Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor

Additional Details

  • Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires manager's approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs.
  • Local Radius: 60-mile radius rule
  • Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case by case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate
  • RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
  • Hurricane Season: Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
