Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,539 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for an assignment in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role is scheduled to start on August 24, 2026, and lasts 13 weeks with 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive cath procedures and cardiac interventions, including balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, and rotablader.
• Manage patient care for adults and geriatrics in a cath lab setting.
• Conduct procedures such as accessing/managing ports, angioplasty, cardiac implant closure device placement, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, carotid stenting, and scrub/circulate procedures.
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and dysrhythmias.
• Operate and maintain diagnostic cardiac cath lab equipment.
• Familiarity with electrophysiology (EP) lab devices, ablation, EP studies, and adjunct cardiac therapies.
• Compliance with EKG exam requirements.
• Use EMR systems, specifically Epic, for documentation.
• Float to any Cone Health campus as required by travel policy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in cath lab procedures; travel experience required (first-time travelers accepted).
• Active professional license at the time of submission.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (mandatory); RCIS/RCES (strongly preferred but not required).
• ARRT (CI, R, VI) or CCI (RCES, RCI) certifications.
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only).
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius; valid driver’s license required for address verification.
• Must complete compliance requirements by the specified deadline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous charge experience.
• Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic.

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
