Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,477 per week

About the role

HCS 247 is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Clearwater, Florida. This is a travel position with a start date of October 12, 2026, working 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist with the preparation and monitoring of patients during procedures.
• Operate and maintain specialized cath lab equipment, including imaging systems and hemodynamic monitoring devices.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in the medical record.
• Collaborate with the cath lab team, including nurses, physicians, and other allied health professionals.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or similar credential preferred).
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist in an acute care setting.
• Active state license or ability to obtain one prior to assignment start.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
