About the role

Junxion Med Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN for Cardiac Cath Lab in Des Moines, Iowa. Assignment starts October 5, 2026, lasting approximately 13 weeks. Shift: 10‑hour days, 40 hours per week. Facility is a Level 1 trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac catheterization lab nursing care.
• Perform circulating monitoring.
• Float across campuses as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience.
• Cath experience: 24 months required.
• Circulating monitoring experience required.
• Trauma level II experience required (preferred Trauma Level I).
• Active Iowa/IA license or compact/multistate license.
• ACLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Valid driver’s license (document required).

Skills

• Structural heart experience (highly preferred).
• EP experience (highly preferred).
• Travel experience (highly preferred).
• Scrubbing experience (preferred).
• Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab/CC.
