ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Passaic, New Jersey.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Lab provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. This role involves addressing psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment, and continuous communication with physicians about patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patient conditions continuously while in the Cardiovascular Lab.
• Assist with the maintenance of equipment and inventory and ensure the procedure room is prepared and functional.
• Obtain various supplies for individual cases to ensure the Cardiovascular Laboratory team's needs are met.
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the lab.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certificates upon hire and must maintain current certification.
• One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required.

Schedule

• Shift: 8 hours, days (07:00 AM - 03:30 PM)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
