Travel Cath Lab RN - $2,794 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing position in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The role is in the Cardiac Cath Lab specialty, RN discipline, with a duration of 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts, and immediate start. The ideal candidate should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience and will work with a highly skilled team in a cardiovascular surgical environment, assisting physicians with EKG equipment maintenance and monitoring, and supporting angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization as a way to diagnose heart conditions or as a treatment.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of experience
• 1‑2 years recent acute care experience
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to easily lift 20 pounds
• Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times
• Possess good skills for coping with stress
• Ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
