Travel Cath Lab RN - $2,428 per week

About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Paducah, Kentucky. This is a temp-to-perm contract position with a 13-week duration, requiring openness to applying for permanent employment. Locals are accepted with no adjusted rate.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting
• Work 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday (typically 7AM-5:30PM)
• Participate in rotating on-call shifts with a minimum of 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
• Handle on-call coverage from 5:30PM-7AM on weekdays and 24-hour call shifts on Fridays and weekends
• Collaborate with a 4-person team of RNs and Rad Techs for most cases
• Work with anesthesia staff for certain procedures as needed
• Manage cardiac drips and utilize various specialized equipment

Unit Specific Details

• Bed count: 2 Cath labs, 1 EP lab, 1 hybrid OR
• Lines/Drains/Devices: Medtronic heavy for devices and supplies
• Machines/Systems: McKesson and Cupid; Cath equipment includes Impella, balloon pump, penumbra, Volcano, OCT, Phillips X-Ray system; EP equipment includes Boston Scientific mapping system and farapulse
• Oxygen: Yes
• Patient population: Adult only

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years (unbroken) Cath Lab experience
• Minimum of 1 year travel experience
• Minimum of 4 assignments in Registered Nurse, Cath Lab
• Dysrhythmia exam required (study guide available)
• SSN and DOB required
• 2 references in entire work history
• Must sign right to represent via Docusign for BSMH

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
• Rotating on-call shifts with minimum 7 on / 7 off
• Shifts typically run 7AM-5:30PM in Cath Lab
• Weekday call: 5:30PM-7AM
• Friday and weekend: 24-hour call shifts

Pay

• Pay rate: $2355.00 - $2501.00
• Based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
• Tax-free stipend amount to be determined
