Travel Cath Lab RN - $2,333 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13‑week assignment in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts. Candidates should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a highly skilled team in a cardiovascular surgical environment, providing assistance to physicians including maintenance and monitoring of EKG equipment.
• Assist during angioplasty, cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization for diagnosis or treatment.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter‑defibrillators (ICDs).

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (1‑2 years recent acute care)
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds routinely; patient handling may require up to 50 pounds.
• Strong stress‑coping skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
