TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio. Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab. Discipline: RN. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 8 hours, days. Employment Type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose or treat heart conditions.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties, and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Cope with stress in a fast‑paced environment and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience (minimum 1.5 years).
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
