About the role

Aya Healthcare is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse in Bridgeport, CT. This position will be working at a single facility for a period of 26 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures under supervision
• Assist with diagnostic catheterizations and interventional procedures
• Monitor and manage procedural sedation
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Place cardiac stents as needed
• Perform left and right heart catheterizations
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation
• Use pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring equipment
• Start and maintain intravenous lines

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• At least 2 years of relevant experience

Qualifications

• Experience with circulatory procedures
• Knowledge of adult diagnostic catheterizations
• Ability to interpret and manage various types of dysrhythmias
• Proven skills in interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
• Proficiency in left and right heart catheterizations
• Experience with monitoring procedural sedation
• Expertise in procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Knowledge of pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring techniques
• Experience starting and maintaining intravenous lines
