About the role
Aya Healthcare is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse in Bridgeport, CT.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures under supervision
- Assist with diagnostic catheterizations and interventional procedures
- Monitor and manage patient care during procedures
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Place cardiac stents as needed
- Circulate during procedures
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation
- Manage left and right heart catheterizations
- Start and maintain intravenous lines
- Monitor pulmonary artery lines and Swan-Ganz catheters
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
Qualifications
- Experience with cardiology and cath lab procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Cardiac stent placement
- Circulate procedures
- Diagnostic catheterizations (adult)
- Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
- Interventional cardiac cath lab
- Left heart catheterization
- Maintenance of procedural sedation
- Procedural sedation administration/monitoring
- Pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
- Right heart catheterization
- Starting and maintaining IVs

$3,286.80 to $3,484.00 weekly
