About the role

Aya is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse in Fullerton, CA. This position is available for 13 weeks and works a 4x10-hour schedule from 06:30 - 17:00.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Monitor patients during procedures
• Administer emergency medications
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Insert pacemakers
• Perform percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Insert pulmonary artery lines/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Insert left and right heart catheters
• Start and maintain intravenous lines
• Monitor procedural sedation
• Use end-tidal CO2 monitoring, activated clotting time (ACT), angioplasty, cardiology stent placement, carotid and cerebral angiography, circulate procedures, interpret and manage dysrhythmias, interventional cardiac cath lab, interventional catheterizations, left heart catheterization, monitoring procedural sedation, pacemaker insertion, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), procedural sedation administration/monitoring, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterization, starting and maintaining IVs, and see text box for additional requirements

Requirements

• 2 years of experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
