About the role
Aya Healthcare is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse in Portland, OR. This position offers a competitive salary range of $2,467.00 to $2,663.40 weekly, with an assignment length of 13 weeks. The schedule is 4x10-Hour shifts from 07:00 - 17:00.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations on adult patients
- Administer procedural sedation and monitor patients during procedures
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Monitor procedural sedation
- Place cardiac stents and perform percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
- Perform paracentesis, cerebral angiography, carotid angiography, neurologic thrombolysis, central venous access/port placement, dialysis graft creation/revision, endovascular interventions, upper and lower extremity angiography, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, reversal agents, thrombolytics, end-tidal CO2 monitoring, infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, ventilator management, activated clotting time (ACT), circulate procedures, IV infusion pumps, central venous access - non-tunneled/PICC placement, dobutamine
- Manage patient care and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Valid state RN license
- Knowledge of advanced cardiac procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic
