About the role

Aya Healthcare is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse in Portland, OR. This position offers a competitive salary range of $2,467.00 to $2,663.40 weekly, with an assignment length of 13 weeks. The schedule is 4x10-Hour shifts from 07:00 - 17:00.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations on adult patients
  • Administer procedural sedation and monitor patients during procedures
  • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
  • Monitor procedural sedation
  • Place cardiac stents and perform percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
  • Perform paracentesis, cerebral angiography, carotid angiography, neurologic thrombolysis, central venous access/port placement, dialysis graft creation/revision, endovascular interventions, upper and lower extremity angiography, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, reversal agents, thrombolytics, end-tidal CO2 monitoring, infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, ventilator management, activated clotting time (ACT), circulate procedures, IV infusion pumps, central venous access - non-tunneled/PICC placement, dobutamine
  • Manage patient care and ensure safety protocols are followed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Valid state RN license
  • Knowledge of advanced cardiac procedures and equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic
