Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse - $2,818 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Cath lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lafayette, Indiana, starting August 10, 2026.

About the Role

This position is a travel nursing assignment lasting 13 weeks, with a requirement to work 40 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts. Floating within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals is 100% required. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays and be available for 10 on-call shifts per month, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventions and manage STEMI cases
• Operate EP devices
• Conduct procedures such as:
  • Impella insertion
  • Left heart catheterization
  • Right heart catheterization
  • Rotablader procedures
  • Pacemaker/defibrillator device placement
  • Stent placement
  • Thrombectomy
  • Balloon angioplasty
  • PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)

Requirements

• 18 months of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab (exceptions may apply per unit)
• Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred for certain skills
• Two supervisor references required
• Graduation from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE
• Must hold a nursing license in hand prior to the start date (temporary licenses may be obtainable)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cerner charting system
• EP (Electrophysiology) and TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) experience

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
