Travel Cath Lab / EP Technologist - $2,846 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Mooresville, North Carolina. Assignment overview: start date Oct 5, 2026, duration 10 weeks, 40 hours per week, day shift 5x8 hours, Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with on‑call from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, EP lab, and interventional radiology setting with a 1:1 patient ratio. Procedures include diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, EP studies, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, pacemaker insertion, IABP and Impella placement, and vascular closure. Equipment used includes fluoroscopy, GE Innova IGS, Philips systems, ultrasound, and PACS. EPIC charting experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Equipment setup
• Room circulating
• Scrubbing in for procedures
• Maintaining sterile fields
• Monitoring patients during procedures and recognizing life‑threatening arrhythmias
• Maintaining and stocking procedural equipment and supplies
• Bi‑weekly orientation schedule
• Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab/EP experience
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Compact or NC license required if applicable
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system required
• Skilled in venous access, vascular closure systems, EKG lead placement, and sterile technique
• Experience with EP procedures such as cardiac mapping, ablation, and pacemaker insertion preferred
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Local candidates accepted within 75 miles at a reduced rate
• Candidates with prior permanent employment at this health system must disclose this in their work history and must not have been employed there within the past 6 months
• RTO must be limited to 5‑7 days and included at time of consideration
• First‑time travelers will not be considered for this position
