Overview Cardiovascular Technologist – Echo Tech opportunity in Hilo, Hawaii, US. This travel temporary assignment starts on 12/14/2026 for a 26-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $2,366 to $2,521. Shift: Rotating. Work in a healthcare facility with Epic EMR, performing echocardiography in an acute care setting. Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $2,366–$2,521 per week Contract duration: 26 weeks Shift: Rotating; 40-hour weeks with on-call when appropriate; floating to other departments Start date: 12/14/2026 Location: Hilo, Hawaii Travel assignment in a healthcare setting Guaranteed hours: 0 per week Responsibilities Perform adult transthoracic echocardiography, including 2D, Doppler CW & PW, color flow mapping, and assessment of valvular disease, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, and effusions Conduct 2D and 3D transesophageal echocardiography (TEEs) as needed and support hypertensive heart disease studies Ensure high-quality imaging with accurate measurements; document results in the EMR and communicate findings to the cardiology team Operate Canon i700 and i900 equipment; maintain equipment and adhere to safety and infection control protocols Float to other departments as required and participate in on-call coverage; support daily patient care and workflow Onboarding requires arrival the Thursday before start to complete employee health clearance Requirements Certification: RDCS (ARDMS or CCI) with active American Heart Association BLS Experience: Minimum 3 years in an acute care setting EMR: Proficient with Epic or able to quickly learn Epic EMR Pediatric experience is a plus, not required Ability to work in a rotating schedule and travel environment Must be able to participate in on-call coverage and floating as needed Onboarding readiness: Arrive the Thursday prior to start date for health clearance Benefits and Support Assignment and travel support provided by a dedicated recruiter Credentialing and onboarding assistance On-site orientation and early integration support Potential contract extension opportunities based on performance and needs Find more opportunities If this role isn’t a perfect fit, explore other travel openings at Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
