Travel Cardiovascular Invasive Radiologic Technologist - $3,359 per week

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Peoria, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Current registration as a Cath Lab Technologist in Illinois.
• Experience in performing diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Skills

• Proficiency with medical equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
