Description
Hospital-based Cath Lab unit setting
12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
40 hours per week
Backfill position requiring EPIC experience
Must have experience with both EPIC and Cerner systems
Requirements
- ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography) certification required
- RT (Radiologic Technologist) license required in state of practice; license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Cath Lab specialty required
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred
- One year's catheterization experience preferred
- Experience with EPIC and Cerner EMR systems required
- Recent experience within the last 3 months in the specialty required
Additional Information
- Assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular and pulmonary procedures
- Operates and troubleshoots C-Arm, angiographic injectors, and patient monitoring equipment
- Maintains sterile technique and adheres to infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Assists physicians with administration of contrast media via catheter or direct injection
- Acts as a resource for complex or specialized procedures
