Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking an experienced Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
About the role
We're hiring for a fast-paced, team-oriented 43-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit. This is a travel nursing position with a 12-hour shift schedule (days or nights) and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 (may flex to 1:6). Travelers may float within their skill set as needed.
Self-scheduling with block scheduling is available based on unit needs. Every other weekend rotation is required.
Responsibilities
- Interpret telemetry rhythm strips
- Care for cardiac patients, including managing Heparin drips
- Provide care for post heart catheterization, CHF, COPD, arrhythmias, post pacemaker, and pre-CABG patients
- Manage cardiac medication regimens
Requirements
- Active RN License
- BLS & ACLS certification
- Strong telemetry interpretation skills
- Experience caring for cardiac patients
