Travel Cardiac Telemetry RN - $1,706 per week

About the role

As a Telemetry (TELE) Travel Nurse in the Cardiac PCU, you will monitor patients using telemetry equipment that measures heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood‑oxygen levels, and electrocardiogram data, interpreting the information to guide patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.

Requirements

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience (minimum 2 years experience referenced).
• Ability to work 12‑hour day shifts, 36 hours per week.

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds routinely, with patient handling requiring up to 50 pounds.
• Visual acuity: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
