Travel Cardiac Tele RN - $2,142 per week

About the role

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Telemetry unit will provide care for patients following cardiac procedures, including post heart catheterization and management of conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and arrhythmias. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patient telemetry, administering medications, and ensuring a collaborative and fast-paced environment with high patient turnover. Start date: 11/02/2026; duration: 13 weeks; 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings; record vital signs.
• Titrate Heparin and manage other medications as necessary.
• Conduct admissions and discharges while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
• Assist with EKGs and support patient activities of daily living as needed.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Ability to read telemetry strips and manage cardiac drips.
• Experience with cardiac patients preferred.
