Travel Cardiac Tele RN - $1,959 per week

About the role

The RN will care for inpatient adults experiencing actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions. This includes managing patients with common cardiovascular diagnoses such as sepsis, myocardial infarction (MI), unstable angina, and coronary artery disease. The role also involves administering IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation therapy.

Responsibilities

• Administer vasoactive drugs and antiarrhythmic therapies.
• Perform thrombolytic therapy, defibrillation, and cardioversion procedures.
• Conduct thoracentesis and monitor patients via cardiac telemetry.
• Interpret EKGs and utilize non-invasive blood pressure monitoring.

Requirements

• Active SC RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certified.
• Minimum of 1-year EMR experience with EPIC.
• Requesting 2 years of recent experience in the field.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

3x12 Hour Night Shift, 19:00 - 07:30 with weekend coverage every other weekend. This is a 13-week contract position.
