About the role
Aequor Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment in a cardiothoracic intensive care unit setting.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as directed by a physician.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- At least two proven years experience as a registered nurse.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Alabama.
- Current BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular and thoracic anatomy and physiology.
- Experience with critical care equipment and techniques.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer systems used in healthcare settings.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
