Travel Cardiac Stepdown RN - $2,071 per week
Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Cardiac Stepdown assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri.
About the Role
This travel nursing assignment lasts 13 weeks, starting July 17, 2026. The position requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a Cardiac Stepdown unit
- Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
- Participate in orientation (night shift orients on day shift; must be available the entire week)
- Promote a positive team culture
Requirements
- 1 year of inpatient-only experience in Cardiac Stepdown
- Current RN license (eligible for or currently licensed in Missouri)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
- Must be available for the entire orientation week
- Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption required (November 1 - April 1)
- Flexible guaranteed hours (36 or 48 hours, must be listed on submission form)
Preferred Qualifications
- NIHSS certification
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk most of the time on duty
- Bend, stoop, lift, and turn patients with assistance
- High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids
- Push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs.
- Pinch up to 15 lbs.
- Minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling

Pay
Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and may be subject to change during an assignment.
