Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Echo Tech for a temporary position with strong experience in echocardiography. The ideal candidate will be required to float within the specialty and handle bedside echo exams. Strong experience will be preferred, although first-time travelers are accepted.

  • Perform echocardiograms including 2-D and 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, and Pharmacologic Stress Echo.
  • Carry out portable studies and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE).
  • Utilize advanced imaging techniques including Color Doppler and Isolation Precautions/PPE.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Document patient information using EPIC and other systems as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum 2 years of echocardiography experience required.
  • Must possess ARDMS RDCS AE, CCI, and BLS certifications.
  • Experience with Philips equipment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ICU and Emergency Department protocols is an asset.
  • Active MD or Compact License required at time of submission.

Pay Package

The Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
