Travel Cardiac PCU Registered Nurse - $2,031 per week

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSST (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Skills Required

• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Telemetry monitoring on the unit
• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath.
• Peripheral Line Care and Management
• PICC line management
• Manage Cardiac drips (no titration)
• Manage Vasoactive drips (no titration)
• Procedural Sedation Administration
• Titrating Cardiac drips
• Titrating Vasoactive drips
• Chest tubes - Emerson, Pleur-evac
• External CPAP/BIPAP
• Tracheostomy Management
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams preferred

Licensure and Compliance

• Active RN license must be in hand at submission
• Pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Must complete 2-4 hours of non-billable modules during orientation

Other Requirements

• Covid-19 and Flu vaccines required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Third-party education verification required

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First time travelers are accepted
• Cardiac PCU experience required
• Must be comfortable with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
