Travel Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse - $2,251 per week

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a 13-week assignment in Albany, New York.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and competent care in a patient-centered approach
• Perform procedures such as intubations, central line placement, spinal drain placement, bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, a-line placement, and urgent surgical procedures
• Work in a CVICU with a patient-to-RN ratio of 1:1 or 1:2
• Staffing includes a NM, ANM, Nurse Clinician, RNs, PCAs, and ASA
• Utilize equipment such as vents, a-lines, central lines, spinal drains, Flo-trac, PA catheters, CRRT, IABP, CentriMag, VA & VV ECMO, Impella, HM2 & HM3
• Document using Soarian, MAK, and paper flowsheets
• Schedule 3 - 12 hour shifts and every other weekend
• Floating policy to areas with like competencies, including MICU, SICU, CCU, and PCCU

Requirements

• NYS Licensed RN with 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience
• Epic experience required

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in CVICU
• Must be able to provide compassionate and competent care in a patient-centered approach
