Travel Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse - $1,702 per week

About the role

The role involves providing care for adult patients with cardiac conditions, implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient status, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hemodynamic parameters and vital signs for cardiac patients.
• Perform advanced skills such as PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, and CRRT as necessary.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, maintaining accurate records in the Meditech documentation system.
• Absorb and assist with procedures including central line insertions, Swan Ganz catheter insertions, and intubations.
• Collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements

• Current RN license and BLS certification required.
• Strong critical care nursing experience.
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS preferred; experience with Impella and CRRT highly desirable.
• Ability to work weekends and float to other units based on patient needs.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
