About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 9, 2026, in Salem, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
  • Operate and maintain equipment used in cardiac catheterization labs.
  • Document patient data accurately and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Current registration as a Cath Lab Technologist through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • At least one year of relevant experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Skills

  • Proficiency in operating cardiac catheterization equipment.
  • Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and medical staff.
  • Basic computer literacy.

Pay
