About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week cardiac cath lab contract in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call required every 4th day and one weekend per month
- Weekend availability required
- Holiday coverage required for 2 major and 1 minor holidays
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Invasive Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, Neuro Intervention, Pacemakers, and EKG
- ARRT(R) or RCIS certification, BLS, and LSRT required (temporary LSRT accepted; typically issued within 3–5 days upon fee payment and proof of ARRT)
- Louisiana state license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency with Philips single plane/bi-plane, Inari, Pembra, Pounce, Impella, IABP, US CSI Shockwave, Rotoblade, IVUS (Boston Scientific and Philips), Carto Abbott, and X-Per
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
Qualifications
Preferred experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) and Electrophysiology (EP)
Skills
- ARRT(R) or RCIS certification
- BLS and LSRT
- Epic EMR experience
- Philips single plane/bi-plane, Inari, Pembra, Pounce, Impella, IABP, US CSI Shockwave, Rotoblade, IVUS (Boston Scientific and Philips), Carto Abbott, and X-Per proficiency

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
40 hours per week, 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
